how do i send a PM ?

i cant just click them name and send a PM anymore?

There is two ways.  Upper right hand corner click on your user name or the avatar box and a drop down with options for messaging.  Another option if they have visited the site in the last 24 hrs they are listed on the bottom of the forums page.  Click on their user name and it will send you to their profile.  Click send private message box.

I am working on linking the profile avatar to their profile.
