St Kitts and Nevis Under the Waves Photos

A few weeks ago the ball and chain and I did the did the classroom and pool portion of the dive certification course. Right now we are staying on Turtle Beach in St Kitts where we have been doing nothing but snorkeling and completing our open water dives. We did two dives yesterday and the other two tomorrow (i feel like I'm coming down with a cold so I hope it holds off)

Anyway, my point for posting this is the pictures. Been taking lots of coral/sponge/fish/critter pictures while snorkeling so get ready for'em. My camera only goes to 30 feet so pics are only from snorkeling. Will be VERY PICTURE HEAVY! COMING SATURDAY-SUNDAY.

WOW that 5th pic down, what kind of fish is that eating the blue tang?

Looks like your seeing the usual underwater critters. Thanks for sharing pics and I hope you didn't find more lion fish than the one you clicked. They're intruders in the Caribbean with no natural enemies and are becoming quite a nusiance

That's why I made a point to get a picture of it. Only saw a couple of them.

spent a week in Grand Cayman in October and lost count of how many lion fish I saw.
actually saw them in groups of 3, 4, 5 and even counted 10 in one place some that were longer than my arm from elbow to finger tips

yeah, think I saw about 8 total. Most were while diving.

In the last group of pics, look closely at 9 and 10. File fish in 9 and stone fish in 10.
