Q2 2016 TOTQ Open for Submissions

After a nail biting finish in last quarters contest, we finished with Ralph_ATL as the winner. We are working to put his tank spotlight together, but in the meantime, lets open up submissions for this quarters contest. Due to the limited participation of themed Tank of The Quarter contests, we have decided to open participation to all paid members.

To be eligible for participation:
1) You must be a paid member
2) You must have a build thread for you tank that has been updated within the last quarter on the ARC Member Tank Gallery forum (located here: http://www.atlantareefclub.org/forum...splay.php?f=90)

Submissions will be through email @ ARCContestSubmission@gmail.com

To be eligible please include your name, your screen name, and a picture of your tank (this will be used for the voting of a winner).

The submission period ends June 3rd at midnight.

Good luck everyone!

What are the requirements for a build thread? My tank has been setup for a year and a half and I didn't take any pics while I was setting it up (don't know if I can create a build thread now).

It's never too late to start a build thread.

I think a lot of people are like me, and don't think their tank is up to par yet (aka young tank).

I would encourage folks to go ahead and post! TOTQ doesn't have to be a giant mature tank! Tanks are cool for a lot of reasons!

I'll get my thread going asap... its young, but that's ok.

That's a great point Brandon! A lot of different aspects of a tank can make it an amazing setup. Not necessarily large colonys. We will have a tank of the year competition as well. If you don't enter in a TOTQ then you won't be a ble to compete in the Tank of the Year. Let's get some competition going.

It would be interesting to see what impresses people about different tanks.
Giant corals are always nice, but what else?

Yes, you must wait 2 years before you are eligible to compete if you win. All are welcome to compete.
