This is YUGE!

Any chance of making the ads go away for non-paid visitors?

I logged out and looked at the forum - they aren't quite as obnoxious as they used to be, but I still hate them

Jenn

Lol Jenn. I'll see what we can do. But, it does bring in a small amount of advertising revenue and another reason to join. Hehe

Those ads have been a thorn in my side since the get-go. I'm sure the Club won't fizzle without the few pennies a month, and it would set us apart further than other places.

I've never heard tell of anyone who joined just to get rid of the ads.

Just sayin'

Jenn

I'm looking forward to the preview and the test run, it's going to take time for the site to be built, merged and tested but i'm sure she will be up and running as a big christmas present to the ARC community.
This is going to be Yuge!!!!!

the more ads they put up the better door prizes can be given away, so more ads and lets top those great prizes we had this year

I'm super stoked about this!
Sounds awesome!

Auto spell correct would be useful, including a "reef related" (abbreviations) dictionary.

Great!

Ideas/thoughts:
Being able to "like" a post or up vote a thread is cool
Buyer seller feedback "score" is good anti scam technique

Only 2 off top of my head lol! I'm sure it'll turn out awesome!

As long as it is nothing like TapTalk I'm all for it! I absolutely hate Taptalk. One of the reasons I always have my laptop with me where ever I go. So I can check all my forums and sites on a regular basis.

Gotta crawl before we walk. Let's focus on an update to date, modern website first, then worry about an app

A well designed website will work fine on a mobile browser

Just a thought but maybe a section devoted to Conservation discussions and maybe opportunities. I imagine there are many people here who enjoy scuba/snorkel and would like to participate in conservation activities. I'm willing to do the grunt work to get the ball rolling on this too.
