So I bought an established zoa tank (I have a zoa addiction problem).

Are there ANY fish that would not only survive, but thrive in such a tiny volume? Google says I have a few options, but I'd also/rather get advice from hobbyists more experienced than myself.

TIA

I’d imagine any of the nano goby’s would work. Neon, yasha, clown.

What 5g tank did you pick up? I’ve been eyeing the 4.8g Deskmate from Eshopps. My biggest problem though, is I could get a 15g AIO for cheaper currently. But I love the footprint of a ~5g tank and would also do all zoas/mushrooms in it.

You will hear mixed things, but I would argue that a yellow clown goby would be fine. They hardly swim in my experience, and are perfectly content perching in one spot for hours sometimes.

I'd think you could do at least a single clown fish too, but perhaps our friends know better than I in that regard.
