The beauty of these amazing creatures that we are allowed to keep in our homes never ceases to amaze me 🥰

Tank looks great! Curious if you know the par numbers where the jawbreakers are at? Also, where do you run nitrates and phosphates?

At jawbreakers- Par is around 150 at high point and 50 at low point during the 12 hours of lights on. Nitrates and phosphates are a tad high , but I try to follow redfield ratio albeit at slightly higher numbers since we have a significant amount of soft and LPS corals.
Thanks for the compliment. :)

You have beautiful tanks! I am curious why you call that tank the pest tank. I also recommend using some calcium carbonate powder to help clear up the water. It works very well for my tanks. I use it every couple of weeks or so.

That tank started as a small tank used for pests that I did not want in my other system. So the name just stuck :). Thanks 🙏

We have two tanks. After a multi- decade break from the hobby, my daughter convinced me to start back up. We have a RedSeaReefer 250 mixed reef and a nano do-it-yourself softie setup.
It is great to know I am not the only reefer that has a small tank in the kitchen. Evo 13. Can’t get enough of the hobby. Only a few coral but added the TSA black widow anemone yesterday. My clown fish is happy now
