acrylic question for all

i have a question for anyone that can help, i am looking to make an acrylic aquarium (just to learn how) and want to know where to buy acrylic ranging from 1/4 inch to 3/4 inch here in atlanta, a friend of mine has an acrylic aquarium shop in the midwest and loves making tanks so i thought why not i am bored and have some spare time... anyone help? i am looking for only cell cast acrylic

McMaster and Carr is here in Atlanta and they carry nearly everything... literally.

i just cked their website and a half inch thick sheet is 607$ (48 by 96 )
that is 3 times higher than the place in cincinnati that will ship it to me for 100$ what is the deal with them? anywhere else in atlanta that is cheeper cincinnati is about 250 bucks a sheet for the same stuff

Try Piedmont Plastics... they have an Atlanta location.

Andy at MRC gave me a quote of 400$ for 3/4 x48x96 and the half inch should be cheaper still. Hope that helps.

You can try Laird Plastics as well... 4-351-1750
