Anyone know what's wrong with my flame hawk?

So I've had the same flame hawk for about 1.5 years. He started off in my 93 cube and has been in my 120 for almost a year now.

He seemed to behave like a regular flame hawk until recently. He liked to go in and out of the corner flow. Around 2 months ago he got stuck. I was able to move him back to the main part of the tank but he was extremely white and I didn't think he would last much longer.

He's still alive and is bright red again like before. However all he does is sit on the bottom of the tank and move a little. He eats but nothing like before.

Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong with my flame hawk?

You don't know how old it is. They don't come with a birth certificate. It could just be getting on in years, and is less active. Since they don't have a swim bladder, it takes a lot of energy for them to swim.

Usually they perch high up so they can see their surroundings (hence the name...) if it isn't skinny or pinched looking I wouldn't necessarily worry about parasites, but deworming won't hurt.

It could just be getting old.
