Back from a break

Needed to give up my tank for a few years but now Im back. Before I had a 75 gallon bare bottom but this time Im trying a 25 gall deep sand bed. Its set up and cycling with mollies. Usually at this point I just leave it alone for a couple of months but was wondering if I should introduce a culture from an established bed now or after the cycling process has completed.

Also looking for a good samaritan who would be willing to let me have a cup or so of established bed sand.

Thanks Cliff but Im in Decatur but head up to Kennestone on business sometimes. Will come by on my next trip.

From you response am I right in assuming that now is the time to add sand with worms and all the little critters need for a deep sand bed? I was worried they might not survive the cycling process. I do it with mollies because they can take a pretty toxic ride and I let it become an ammonia soup while the bacteria is building up.

I am in hampton/mcdonough u can get a cup of my sand. Over a year old
