just a short video of a temporary solution I came up with for a moonlighting system... I took a single high powered LED and mounted it to the ceiling.. then using a directed lens, I aimed it at the fish tank and turn it on (using a AA battery for power) this is simply to last me until my light comes in a week or two

It seems really bright in the video and concentrated in the video

but in person, the entire tank is lit just enough to see everything and the main spotlight isnt tooo bright..

i really like the spot effect, it reminds me of the reflection of the moon on the water

It will run on the AA battery for 5,000 hours

nice.. tough to tell from the video as you said. but looks good i also like the single spot effect

That is really neat. you should continue to play with LEDs for different effects....hint

well it's been going for a week solid no problem (i don't turn it off during the day, and i had a similar LED in my car that last 3 years in my car

Cris, Ill keep you updated haha
