OK, I have a leather which maybe my favorite coral in the tank. It grows and grows. However now it is to big and attached to several rocks. I would like to trim it up. But I'm chicken. So here is the proposition If someone would like to come help me trim it. They can take home the frag.
Now the other problem, I would like to trim it without taking it out of the tank. Will this cause anykind of toxic release. oh yeah I also live in Covington.

I will be down your way Wednesday afternoon and I should be able to help ya...

Taking it out of the tank would be best... but depending what else you got in there will determine what problems it could cause.

What Rit say. It a toadstool leather so it very hardy. You can chop adn slice it anyway you want it will grow and grow

Have to get me some of those really sharp scissors
