Gyre

Ok, so I'm easing back into this thing with cautious optimism. I've been out about a year. One of the things that have happened since I left is the advent of the Maxspect Gyre.

It has been on the market long enough, and I know some peeps here have tried them..

What are your experiences now that you've had them a while?

They do ship all new units with the upgraded magnet. I'm not entirely sure if they made any other changes though.

For y'all who own these is this your only circulation?

When I get a larger tank I was thinking of using these instead of multiple power heads.

This is my only method of circulation at this moment. However, I have a backup power head in case of power failure that will fire up via the Apex.

I use these and it is my only circ but I do have 2 just due to tank size.
