I've been thinking of breeding aptasia eating nudis for a while now but thought I'd give peppermint shrimp one more chance. I've had good luck with them from Optimum in there past, not so much from other LFS. I went in to Optimum today and picked up 10 large peppermint shrimp, stuck them in an acclimation box, mainly for protection against my melanurus, then added some rubble loaded with aptasia. They dug right in. The bother the aptasia till it balls up then they rip it off the Rock and chow down. I may go grab some more to fight the good battle.

I've had them in the past and their numbers slowly dwindle. I've had one hiding in my rock work for about a year now, I guess my wrass can't get it.

Good to hear. The smart ones stay hidden from the wrasses. :)

So long, and thanks for all the fish.

Great!

I had 4 that devoted my few Aptaisia in a few days. They lived for years, then dissapeared.

I had 4 that eliminated my few Aptaisia in a few days, never to return.
