Macro algae reactor DIY!!

My only issue with my chaeto reactor is that it is kind of tedious to unhook everything, take it apart, and pull out the chaeto. I have a hard enough time pulling chaeto out of my refugiums... as such the reactor I have on my QT tank never gets emptied... lol.

I thought about that but the reactor was laying around and those LED strip lights are cheap on Amazon so I thought I'd give it a try. So far it looks to be doing its job VERY well. If I didn't have that reactor or if it didnt work, I'd probably gone the ATS route. I have a small CPR sump and I was going to put two acrylic panels inside diagonally (like a V) and place that screen on top of them. That way it would minimize water splashing noise and you can use just one light for both panels as opposed to having two separate lights for both sides.
