my new euro-reef RS-135 showed up today. i had to build a stand out of PVC to get the correct water level for the skimmer. so far lots of bubbles but no real foaming.

You will really like that skimmer. I have a ASM G4 and I did my own Recirc mod to it and it works really well. ER Skimmers are really good performers. Now you need to update your signature line. No more Turboflotor. :) :) :)

the turboflotor is still sitting in storage should it ever need to make another appearance. it really ran pretty well after i modded it. however this euro-reef is producing a ton of bubbles, i'm just trying to dial in the foam level for now.

I have a euro-reef CS-400 on my reef, they are pricey but well worth it. Mine foams microbubbles like shaving cream. You really will appreciate what you have after its been running a while and you see another system at the lfs with a different skimmer. You will really enjoy that skimmer, welcome to the club.
