Reef art?

wow, looks good - I am planning of that for my upgrade, those look really good with alot of flat pieces.

It was so so easy to do. I had an extra tub of dried out fiji rock that someone gave me a while back. They were actually relatively small pieces... I built a small stand out of 1/2" CPVC--just a 6"X 6" square with a single pipe shooting straight up. Then I drilled a 1/2" hole through each of the rocks, and sliped them over the pipe, using epoxy to make it one solid column. I couldn't believe how sturdy it was once it dried! The epoxy I used was PC-7 from the local hardware. it comes in two cans that you mix together. I was worried about it not being reef safe but a phone call to the manufacturer eased my mind.

So, for less than $20 I've got a 30lb, 2ft hight column ready to plant in the middle of my tank tomorrow!

Jesse,
I would probably put that on the mantle over the fireplace with one of those directional lights shining up from below to highlight the depth and variety of angles in this piece. Just my opinion.

Looking good Jesse! Reminds me of the round tanks that has the cylindrical rock column that the fish just circle!
