This new build I've been doing has been a slow build piecing things together. Wasn't in any rush to get it up asap so I've been doing it slowly. At first I started to build the IM 20g peninsula slowly to make it my macro tank so once the Reefer 650 is done cycling I was going to plumb them together since the sump area in the Reefer isn't very big after putting equipment in. I wanted to keep it a clean look as well as room to do maintenance. The videos wouldn't upload saying the files were to big so here are some photos of what it looks like from 2 weeks ago.

Welcome! Looking good!

Edit: if you would like to post video you would need to upload it to YouTube or another hosting site and add the link to your post.

Thank you! Yea it seems like a lot of work to post a video 🤣 🤣 I was just trying to post the vid since pictures doesn't show the scape very well. Either way, videos and pictures doesn't do much justice.

Well those gyre are the same ones, those are just for little random flows. I have 2 tunze and 2 mp 40 on the sides hut I'm changing the tunze out for maybe 2 pulse 2 or pulse 4. So basically a pulse on the top and mp40 in the mid but the gyre on the overflow. Just testing it out since I don't want anything on the peninsula side for esthetics look. I just want it to be a clean look since I'm planning to put a maxima clam there for the center piece for that view.

Some updated photos as of today. Slowprogress, but Progress!

Wow that looks really nice! That is what the wife and I are saving up for right now. We want a decent size peninsula tank for a room divider. I am interested in watching this build as it evolves.

Nice aquascape, so much nicer when it’s planned out, so many photos, it’s almost like a video if you scroll fast

Lmao, like one of those mini photo flip books when I was a kid. Or the small yellow sticky notes I would use to draw a stick man doo g flips

No, as of right now I don't. I am moving in several months and didn't want the hassle of having to move it or try to find buyers in a short amount of time. I will eventually when I purchase another home. If I can find a home with a basement I was planning on doing a saltwater pond but I would have to do more research on that.
