I put two gorgonias (sp?) in my tanks to see if my feeding/dosing methods would work, one in one, and one in another. One is doing great and one is not. The one that is not is a thinner kind, with small polyps. some parts have lost their skin to show a tiny black skeleton. If I were to give it to another member who could better care for it, would they have any chance for it to recover?
(fyi possible free still showing polyps, so not dead, but not in the best shape ever sea fan! PM me if interested as this is not a FS thread.)
I tried target feeding as well as dosing. The specimen showed polyps and seems to act fine, but its very slowly withering away.
