 We just plunged into the abyss of the 120 world.

THANKS MACNA!!!

We are setting up the 120 in the basement. will be adding about 150 gal sump / refuge / etc for the water cycle.

Lighting; I got that we need T5's. What brand and wattage should we be looking at, what should we be paying?

Water Cycle; if we have about 250gal of water, what size pump should i put on the tank?

Air extraction; If we are able to extract moist air out of the sump room, what should we be using? Aircon, fans, extractors?

I dont understanding your question on lighting. Are you saying you want to go with all T5's? You can also do powercompacts or Metal Halide depending on what you are keeping coral wise. If you are doing all T5's you can either do a Tek or ATI fixture (go with 6 or 8 48" lamps) OR you can build oyur own reto to fit in a canopy with Icecap components and HO or IC 660 ballasts.

As far as the pump, your tank (unless it's custom) can probably only handle a max of 1200 gph on the drains, so get a pump that will acheive that at the height you are pumping to.

Here is a link to my thread when I built my own canopy and used retrofit components.

If oyuare wanting to do something like this, contact Sprayin70, as I think he is selling many of the components at a great price.
