Toadstool closed up

For some reason, my toadstool closed up. Still standing tall, but all it's polyps are now back in its body...it's now smooth.

Water params are fine...I just did a water change last night.

I read a random post about them not liking button polyps. Anyone ever here that before?

Below is a pic of what it looked like when it was fine. I think it's called a toadstool.

mine are usually open, but close from time to time. It's just a normal occurance for these things.

when the toadstool gets that shiny coating it is basically growing....in a few days you'll see his polyps come back out and they will be a bit longer......the first time mine did it I kind of freaked out a bit too but now I see him do it every two weeks or so.....its completely normal so I wouldn't worry....
