What kind type of snail?

Does anyone know what type of kind of snail is it? Found in my reef tank , don't know it is a bad type or good type.

Do they look like this when open? If so they are ok, Nassarius snails.

FWIW, my experience with nassarius snails has been if they have white snouts and live in the sand they're fine. If they have dark snouts and live on the rock they're snail killers.
 
Yes when open they look like in pic , I'm glad they will be ok because they much smaller then reg Nassarius snail so not sure what they are.
 
Whelk snails are often confused as narrarius snails but are distructive. They have a black (dark) trunk. They also have a trap door, narrarius snails don't.

Those look like Caribbean Nassarius. There are also Pacific Nassarius that have a rounder shell, less ridges. Similar shape to the Bumblebee snail which is also a type of Nassarius.

The Nassarius has a soft proboscis, where the Whelk has a soft proboscis and also a rigid, spear-like one that it uses to impale its prey.
