I knew it! This is the first article I've seen where someone mentions peppermint shrimp eating hydroids! I've had a few peppermint shrimp in my day and one (maybe two?) ate all the hydroids! Of course they came back when the peppermint shrimp shrugged off it's mortal coil but they sure enough fed on them!
