[smokin' reefer]

i just purchased a a 110 g tank and 29 g tank for sump. i have a basic understanding of how to make the sump but need a little help.

is there a certian size to make the intake/refug/return? i assume large enough for the skimmer(inake) and pump(return).

i also have a 10g tank from a previous pet should i incorporate this tank somehow?

Will your skimmer sit inside your sump or outside? If it's an in-sump skimmer and the footprint allows it, I'd use the 10g for the sump and the 29g for your refugium (providing there's adequate room in your stand cabinet).
