im building a 110 gallon acrylic drilled reef tank, with one overflow,it has a 36" mrc reef sump, should i use both drilled holes in the tank for overflows to the sump,or make one a overflow and one a return?
what skimmer should i go with? i have 22.5 inches from the bottom of my sump to the top of the stand inside the cabinet.
what return pump should i use?how big?how many gph.
for the past 4 years i have had a 44 gallon corner reef tank with a pro clear aquatics wet/dry filter system with built in protein skimmer,so im not to familiar with all this big aquarium stuff.
thanks,

1. One overflow and one return should be sufficient considering the holes are big enough.

2. Depending on how high up is your sump to the main display tank. I live to use the Dart pumps. They are built like a tank, quiet, and very efficient.

Pump- about 1000 gph should cut it. I would go with one of 2 pumps, reeflo (dart) or pan world/blue-line. Both are very quiet and rock solid pumps.

Skimmer- only one choice there: MRC!

:)

Post pics of the build; can't wait to see the progresss.

And, welcome to the forum!
