well its coming together almost ready to start filling it with water by tomorrow i think i went a little crazy with the cement on the last piece but its holding together i wanted a fancier aquascape but this is what i ended up with just have to place the last piece into the tank and hang the lights tonight then im done

I rigged up an aqualift pump to keep the air out of the utubes for the overflow and to restart the siphon if the power ever goes out just have to clean up the wiring and tubing

Well almost there got everything plumbed and wired and forgot i didnt have a power strip lol so i ordered one off amazon coming tomorrow so tomorrow i can start filling it with rodi

i came up with this hanging kit to hang my led lights over the tank without wires everywhere or having to hang it from the wall i didnt cut the wood the best so its a little uneven in some spots but its extremely sturdy7955

Looking good so far. Hang on overflow boxes can cause headaches though. Have you ruled out drilling the tank and putting in a better overflow?
yea ive dealt with them in the past so i know what im up against and yea ive ruled out drilling the tank

ive been filling the tank since about 1pm yesterday and this is how far its gotten as of about 20 minutes ago this is gonna be a long 3 days lol

the pressure on my rodi when i first started was below 20psi (its hooked to the cold water outlet of the washing machine) and the water pressure in the house has been low since we got the house in march so i went in the crawl space and found the water pressure regulator and gave it a few turns now the psi on the rodi is 38psi i may go back under there and turn it a few more times to get the psi to 50 or so

48 hours or so going slow but getting there

You should look into a booster pump for the RODI. The membranes love pressure and at the low of PSI it's probably letting stuff through. What will happen is you will plow through DI media because not as much is being caught in the membrane.

i actually had to go under my house in the crawl space to the pressure regulator and turn the psi up to 60 before that the psi was 30 it was set really low and my tds meter said 0 after testing it

also i wasnt running it straight 48 hours i turned it off before going to bed then back on when i woke up didn't want any accidents like one of the kids knocking the line on the new floors i just put down lol

Looks like my ammonia is 1.0 or 2.0 my nitrite is 0.25 and no nitrate yet
