White stuff on my rocks. I figured it was Calcium since mine was testing off the chart for a couple of weeks. I have it holding steady at 450 right now.


I forgot what this coral was called but it's starting to show its skeleton. To much flow? I have it on the bottom of the tank. Getting about 90-100 par.

What are your parameters? Did you lower the calcium very quickly?

Magnesium 1320
Calcium 450

And no. It took a few weeks to get it down. I've done a few water changes since. 1 x 50gal and 3 x 10gal in between. 220 total volume tank.

Haven't tested phosphates in a bit but my pH has been 7.4-7.8

I would dip in lugols iodine every other day for a few treatments to see if you can bring it back. It may be a bacterial infection. Have you seen any fish picking at it?

+1 on iodine dip. I had similar, infection started when covered in sand, it didn't make it. Left it in the tank, probably a year later babies started popping up, and still are, probably 20 so far. Fungia plate.
