Thank you so much. I really appreciate that. Most people think it is at least a 55g when they see pictures of it. It is getting quite over grown. Thank you again! Blessings and Happy Reefing!Very nice system!!! It looks so much larger than it is and everything looks very healthy!
Great job!
Thank you so much! It has been over a week now and the frags are looking great. I am going to be bringing them to the next ARC meeting if all goes well.Frags look lovely! Great job!
The next tank is actually a 20 long using the exact same technique. Same equipment and same lights. (I am on a tight budget and a low tech kinda girl) Right now I am cycling the new 20 long tank with 20 pounds of Walt Smiths reef rock in it. Once cycled, I will be moving over the corals from my old tank to the new one, that I want to keep. I would like to not have to dose my new system so will be putting in less stoney corals and more LPS and softies. I would like more movement. I have be posting my new set up and its progression on this forum under Members Tanks and under the title 20 Long - New Begining...if you wish to follow along.so, what's the next tank?
I am going to do my very best to bring the frags to the next meeting.I'm hoping she'll bring some of the frags to the next meeting to sell! The pink pocci was hard to make into large frags but I got a few small one's and they look really good. She's got Bird's of Paradise (seriatopora), Pink & Green Pocci and a few nice pieces of a purple stylo. Basically we fragged the stuff in the upper left corner of the original tank. It's been 2+ week and everything is looking strong.
On a personal note, it was good meeting another person in the hobby. I think I may have freaked her out a bit when I went to work with the coral shears but it was fun, educational and I can't wait to see what she's going to do with the new tank.
