As from the description, I have the original pump and not a lot of funding to buy a new one. It seems to be working but, the flow may not be enough. (red slime issues)

I've tried moving the rock work so not to block the free flow but, there are still dead zones. Any suggestions on a good angle to eliminate those or, perhaps a flexible attachment for the output?

id get a koralia nano 240 or 425..i run a 425 in addition to the powerhead in my biocube 14 and youve got 10 more gallons than that so you definately need a powerhead..in my biocube 29 i may run 2 425s...another way you can increase flow cheaply is with the hydor flo attachment to the return pump

I see the koralia nanos aren't too bad for cost. Someone was selling an ego 750 for $20 but that could be over kill. Is it possible the pump is just gunky and not doing as well as it used to? It's crossed my mind to clean it and, I used to take a pond pump apart to cleAn gunk out. For some reason I'm paranoid about breaking this one and being crap out of pump

not familiar with that brand pump but you might try a vinegar bath. I've heard of people using this method to restore pump flow on large units. but i haven't used it myself.

The flow accelerator claimes it can increase the flow of an existing pump up to 400%

definately clean the pump, one of the flow issues i had at one point was cheatoh clogged in the pump...but with your size tank you definatley need another powerhead...imo the koralia 425 would be good

What is the ratio for a vinegar bath anyways? For the pond pump, I used to take it apart, scrub the parts and blow water through the tubing.
