3 gallon nano light?

Not sure if you guys seen my post the other day but I have been given a 3 gallon tank and im trying to make my mind up on what I want to do any one know what kind of light I can put on it? Heres a pic

Was that one of those jellyfish tanks? Curious to see what it will look like when you set it up as a mini-reef :)

Current USA makes a "Pad Light" that would sit atop a cover if you have one for the tank. You can add an extra actinic to the standard model (it's made to be "upgradeable"). People I know have had good results on those with Fluval Edge tanks (up to 12 gallons). And they aren't very expensive.

Are you handy with a soldering iron? Could get a 10 or 20 watt chip, a heatsink and a dimmible driver off the eBay for the low

I had one over a 5g. Worked perfectly.

You would still need those parts. I would use a CPU cooler for a heat sink. Then drill and tap it to attach an arm or hanging cables

Yep I'm thinking it was originally a jellyfish tank - that LED would make the jellies look pretty neat.
