32 cube

Ok so I'm getting a 32 cube today. And I'm not really happy with where my 90 is in the house so here is my plan. Set up the 32 cube in the bed room and move everything from my 90 into the cube. And then tear down my 90 and put it where I want it then start all over with it. With new leds and lots of new coral!


But I have a few questions.
1) I have a 250 mh. System is that going to be to much for the cube? If not how high above the water should it be?
2) is a korilla 750 way to much flow? Its a non drilled tank with a hob filter.

If you are currently running the 250w setup, i would stay with it. Place it at the same height as you currently have it. I had a 150w on my cube and was only getting 50 PAR on the sand bed (20" tall). Your power head should be OK, but if your using the sand in your pic, it might blow around.

What kind of zoa is that in the very bottom of the picture? And what's the gold fish?

watermelon and some other kind. But ya I messed up a little...... my heater messed up and jacked my temp wayyyyy up and killed some sps. But got everything under control now . And that is just a lemon damsel. Everything is clear and clean as a whistle!

you ll def need to support the mandarin with pods of some sort since this isnt an established tank

Believe it or not there is a bunch of pods in there I guess they were in the LR.

Edit: Looking into dosing vodka. How much should I start out at?

Yeah but mandarin wipe them out faster then they could reproduce.

Well I have some bad news and some good news....... when i hadget my heater malfunction it stressed out all of my sps and killed it along with my font. I am pretty mad at myself for letting that Mich stuff die. But her that's part of it right? But ne ways I am highly considering doing a vodka...... do you have to run a Skimmer? I read an article on RC on it but was a little iffy about the Skimmer...... planning on buying a hob anyways so is it safe for me to go ahead and start my dose PR should I wait on my Skimmer?

To be honest I'm a little worried about the summer. I don't run a heater or anything but my temp sits right about 79-80 during the day. May have to go the led route very soon.
