should i get the cpr cs50 rated for 300 gallons an hour or cpr c90 rated 600 gallons.trying not to drill tank if i dont have to.

make sure you get the "deluxe" model that can be setup with an aqualifter pump to reduce the chance of it breaking siphon

thanks. im still not sure if im going to set up a sump or just hob skimmer.trying to get a parts list so i can make the decision

is 600 enough on this tank? they also have the cs100 witch is 800 gph then 1200 gph is the next model.

If you are setting up a refugium in your sump, you are going to want a slower flow. I run 300 gph on my 20's overflow. Although, I am going to drill a 1" bulkhead near the top of the back glass and use an elbow and notched pipe as an overflow when I set it back up. That way, you don't have to worry about the possibility of a flood due to siphon break

I use a Lifereef 600 gph overflow on my 125 so yes you should be fine.
