5 gallon bucket sump

I started with two pieces of plexiglass trimmed to the inner dimensions of the bucket ,I slotted one from the top the other from the bottom so they would interlock in the center. Then drillled two one and a half inch holes at each overflow point. I cut the chamber heights to 11" so there would be 3" above to keep it from overflowing if one of the chambers were to get blocked.

Cool idea! I once used one of those 5 gallon drinking water barrels for a sump under a 10 gallon hex tank but this looks way more accessable...
