6k t5 color spectrum

hey t5ers,does anyone know what color spectrum 6k giesemanns run at?is it more yellow or white?i ordered some middays without paying attention that they were 6k.i have always run 10k bulbs.what difference can i expect.setup is 3 act,3 10k now and really like the color of it.if these 6k are more yellow when they get here,can anyone recommend a different bulb.36" 39w.would like to keep my sps from losing color.thanks,Reggie

6,000K bulbs will be pretty darned yellow.

I'm actually running the wavepoint bulbs.....they're 14k.....don't have a PAR meter but they look very close to the guisemann 10k....little less costly....an I'm only running 4 bulbs....my SPS are doing great.....starring to get some good purple on one of my acros...but I would think those 6k are gonna be pretty yellow.....think those are the freshwater bulbs for planted tanks

Hmm, well I have two I think laying around somewhere. I took them out cause I wanted a more blue look to it but they were slightly yellow. Not to much to me but then again I hardly noticed it with a 10k, 6.5k and two blue lol

wheres a good place to get 10k gs?i can only find the 6ks at marine depot?do any of our sponsors have them or anything comparable,and do they ship?[im in augusta]
