i have a 75 gallon salt tank and i wanted to start getting some corals but i dont have the right watt on the tank so i was wondering if 216 watts is enought light to have corals. it is a Odyssea 36" 156W (4x 39W) T5 HO Light Fixture Advance

It depends on the type of corals you want to keep.If you stick with softies and LPS's,then you should be fine. You may do a few easy SPS corals with that light also.

i am so sorry i ment to put it is a Odyssea 48" 216W (4x 54W) T5 HO Light Fixture Advance

Seems like a great starter light!

Figure out where you want your tank to go as far as inhabitants, and then gear your lighting around it (this coming for me who purchased a $330.00 Hamilton Tech Retro MH fixture to support a $30 clam).
