I wanted to share some pictures of the 75g stand I built for Angela's (angiegreenwell) new 36x22x22 custom tank. Here is the SketchUp design that I put together, which Angela helped me tweak to her liking:

The construction is 3/4" birch plywood and solid poplar trim. It was quick and fun to build, it only took an afternoon to build and a couple days to sand, prime and paint. For the finish I used two coats of Valspar primer, sanded between coats with 220g sandpaper, and sprayed the paint using an HVLP spray gun (Valspar Latex Enamel, Satin Black).

Hopefully Angela will post some pictures after she has the custom tank in place on the stand and stocked.
