Now that we can see the skimmer we'll get you some suggestions if you continue to have problems. I'd make a little stand outta eggcrate or acrylic about 4 - 6 inches tall to put the skimmer on. Someone with that skimmer might do otherwise. Get some opinions.

I know... I am gonna buy it soon too... yesterday was a lesson learned... My car will thank me too... I dont think it liked the idea of carrying that much weight down GA 400...

You were able to fit all of those in a car??!

Dustin

yep... it did not look good at all... I had like 5 in the front with me some in the back and the rest of them were in the trunk...the weight from it had my car like really low... I will never do that again...

Did you glue the hoses onto the slips coming out of the bulkheads? If not you may want to add stainless steel clamps

No they are not glued and thanks... I knew there was another important thing I was forgetting when I went to home depot...lol... I will have to take care of that...

It looks like you have one flexible, and one kind of flexible but more rigid black tubing, is there a reason why?

Nope... When I went to the store and asked for plumbing that is what they offered because I didnt care to deal with all the fancy pvc stuff at this time.. The black tube is more of a vinyl tubing.
