I'm not sure what your asking exactly, but the length of time it takes to cycle a tank can vary. Generally, I would say about 2 months is the norm. There are ways to "speed up" the cycle(adding live bacteria or media from an established tank, etc) But in order to know whether your cycle is complete, you need to test for nitrites, nitrates and ammonia. When nitrites and ammonia are 0 and nitrates are showing something your tank is considered "cycled" or ready to start slowly adding fish.
