What should I think about/consider if I were to put concrete pieces into a FOWLR tank?

Well it depends, if you have aggressive fish they might use it to brake the glass

Depends on your water volume.

A 150g system could/would buffer any high PH the concrete block would create.

If it's in a 14g BioCube, you could end up nuking your system......

I'm sure you already know the drill with homemade live rock.

Most (not all) precast concretes have additives that help the concrete react differently. Some add calcium chloride that makes it set faster. Others add super-plasticizer that slow down the set time. Be careful with these. They might leach.

Some concrete ornaments for the fish to swim, hide and sleep in... just some interesting pieces here and there. It's going to be a 125 display, probably with a 55 sump.
