so guys, i am setting up a 90 gallon tank...(maybe a 120 idk for sure yet :3) but im starting my stocking idea.

the system is going to have a sump and refugium. sump consisting of a protein skimmer (reccomendations?) and a gfo reactor.
the sump will consist of a deep sand bed, with live rock rubble. it will also include macroalgeas and it will also be a dosing section in there for my dosing pumps.

now for the stocking.

im not too strict on a budget so lets have a little fun with this

1.i know i want a wrasse...
mystery wrasse? flame fairy wrasse?

2. i will have a cool blenny

3. anthias (species unkown)

4. clowns

5. a hawkfish.

6.a tang (?)

7. angelfish

8. pink bar or diamond goby.

i want this tank to be a high bioload but with enough filtration to take it to a low bioload, so i can keep some inverts and corals.
corals are not too high priority. i know i want some nice mushys, zoas, sun, and a couple euphyllia but what i want more importantly are anemones. this tank will be either t5 or led. currently have A 4X25W t5 but i might get a led fixture

now for the big question.

what species of anemone...

ritteri?
long tentacle?
carpet?
multiple different colored BTA's?

i like the size and shape of the carpet, and the bubble tips... idk though.

TIPS TIPS TIPS
IM SO EXCITED

I would pass on the DSB in the fuge, had one on my 90 and it ended up giving me problems after 6 months (detritus trap). Went with a bare bottom fuge with some LR and was much happier.

As for stocking I would get yourself a high quality skimmer with that list you have going. You are going to need one. Hard to fit some of the big boys under the 90 as well (keep that in mind). I have a reef octopus diablos xs 200 for my 90 and it works great.

Also, if you plan on adding any corals you are def going to need a bigger light fixture, I would go LED or 6 bulb 54w each T5 setup. Just my 2 cents! Good luck!

What I did when I built/stocked my 90g is research other 90g tanks, see what kind of fish they had, lights, sump setup, skimmer, etc.

For the corals you want I'd stay away from an angel fish. They are notorious for going after fleshy corals. I'd stay away from a mystery too as they're know for being bullies as they get larger. Fairy wrasses are generally more peaceful with some exceptions.

Anytime you add an anemone you risk them going for a walk and stinging corals and some are fish eaters so make sure what you get is really what you're looking for/want.
