A new controller about to hit the market?

This system is dated already for those familiar with zigbee technology and home automation. (This system uses zigbee) Look at Control 4. It can control your entire home. All from an i-phone if you like. I'm sure Control 4 will soon have software for aquariums.
To buy this would be like buying a Garmin. Why pay $200 for something that just gives directions when you can buy a Droid or i-phone for the same price and get GPS directions and a lot more?

I still stand firm that it will cost alot more than you guys think...its around $1200 to outfit an RKE or Apex and that probably wont get you every single thing they offer..

Reminds me of my RTI k4 home remote. It came with a $1600.00 price tag.Thats with out any of the needed accessories.

It will all come down to what's in the base package anyway, versus what is "accessories".

I would imagine anything beyond the head unit, a couple of power strips, and a module or two....is an accessory. Plus its German....and you know how proud they are of their stuff...lol

To be fair, Robb always treats me really well when I buy from him. :)
