Because of my tank setup, I run a cheapo surface skimmer on my left tank that transfers surface muck from one tank to the other tank which houses my overflow. During this process, once in awhile air is pulled down into the skimmer and results in a cloud of microbubbles in the right tank. what ill effects could result because of this much air being pulled into the water? besides the look of the bubbles, which doesnt really bother me. sps being directly blasted with air....problem? Once the bubbles break the surface it almost mimics the foam from a crashing wave, Im thinkin this is helping with gas exchange? Any thoughts/comments
