Hey everyone,I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a happy new year.So tbh I messed up my aqua scape in my 40 gallon breeder and was curious if I could add lots of dry rock to the aquarium to give it more of an aquarium feeling to it.And was curious if I could probably do it.If anyone has lots of dry rock laying around that doesn’t need please let me know

Cycle your dry rock in a brute or bucket, then you won’t have as big a spike when adding to your display since the rocks will be already cycled.

Wdym by cycle ?
So dry rock can be turned into live rock and cycled- place in salt water brute with power head and temp control, no light needed, some sort of bacterial starter- Dr Tim’s one and only etc. -and the rock will cycle or become ready to sustain reef life. Bacteria will make a home in it and ammonia will be converted to less toxic more compatible with life material. Lots of videos on YouTube and BRS etc...
