Well, first...I'd try to figure out what is causing the Micro Bubbles? Can you tell if they are coming in from your returns? Are the returns above the water, or down into the water. I ask...because I recently had a loose fitting at my pump, which allowed air into the return. Guess what, yup, Micro Bubble galore!
I had them in my Biocube as well, had to change up the way things were stacked in the center section. The pump was sucking the bubbles in and spitting them into the display.
I don't have a tank as big as yours set. I would guess most would say...it would be best to make sure you are just getting good circulation around your LR, and give any Coral you may have, the proper flow they desire. Everyone's layout is different, so what works for one, may not work for another.
As for trash...what kind of filter are you using? Once I went to Filter Socks in my Sump...I rarely get any trash. If I do, it's from stuff on a Power Head that flings off after turning them back on. That or, when starting the Pump back up, occasionally I will get stuff from the inner wall of the piping. Which I catch with a net and discard.
