ACJR or reefkeeper2, elite?

Looking for one to put on my Solana.

ACjr will do all you need to a solana. No need to spend more money on a controller than the tank cost. lol!

Might be a hard comparison since I bet few people have owned both, but my .02..

I have the ACJr. The only thing I dont like about it is for some reason it has a pretty slow response to input on the panel. I.e., I manual override the lights, and it takes a minute to cut them off. A delay, if you will. That is my only complaint.

really? Mine is instant. When I turn something off, it's off within a second...

I've owned both and prefer the rk2. In fact my acjr is sitting in a box downstairs fresh from being serviced. The rk2 does essentially everything the acjr does, looks better doing it, and is easier to use. I also had a lot of issues with the acjr but people have had quality control issues with the rk2 as well so that's a toss up.

I love our RK2. Never had any problems with it, and all the things it does makes everything easy.Also you dont have to worry about your house burning down because moisture got in your timers. I hate coralife timers!!!
