Left town for two days, come back and one of my biggest acro colony is completely bleached out. Very little tissue left on it and that is waving around ready to fall off. All other sps looks fine.
Before I left I changed lighting tones and lowered temp one degree due to algea problems. Do you think that could have done it?
Haven't tested parameters yet. Subversive everything else is fine I would assume it isn't that.

Thats very odd for it to go like that as well. Can you spot any pest that could kill it? Maybe from when you put the clam in, something could have come with it. I don't think a one degree change in water temp will cause this because I just dropped the temp in my chiller down a degree from 78 to 77 a couple of days ago with no ill affects.

I also don't think the clam will hurt your SPS if they touch. I've never known clams to do that and my clam touches everything I put near it.

hope RTN isn't going around! what salt r u using? are you RODI filters still good? Did you dose ALK right before you left by chance?

Did my regular weekly water change. I buy my salt water pre mixed from lfs, I like doing this as it gives me a reason to go there weekly. Dosed like normal based on parameters.
