YES,
it will - atomize the bubbles even more

NO,
it won't - the waterflow will be too low to use the Becketts efficiently...

Na, the becketts require pressure to operate. The modified dart won't work at all in this application.

Fwiw, there isn't a mod that can make the MR-2R any better than it already is. Many people have tried, all have failed!

Risers will increase the dwell time, this increasing the capacity of the skimmer. These are available from MRC, so not really a mod, but more of an "upgrade"; similar to a second injector on an MR-2. A standard riser converts the unit into an MR-3

What size is your system? Or should I ask, what size is the system that this particular skimmer is being utilized on?

I'd say around 700g or so.
