I'm looking at the possibility of adding some Cheato to my sump to help control nitrates. I don't have any room for a separate baffled area for a refugium though. Would this be beneficial and if so would it be better in the intake side with the skimmer or on the return side with my pump? I have all the necessary filters to prevent it from being sucked into the return pump as well.
Is this a possibility or just a waste of time?
