I had a pair of frostbite clowns but the female died. I think she never got over being stressed about being in a tank

With the lone clownfish in the tank, ideally I'd like to introduce some more clowns into the tank but I know that's often not a great idea.

I was thinking about just throwing in 3-4 regular clowns in there. Looking to see opinions from the reefers out there on if I need to move the lone clown out or if they might all just get along

I had two black and white clowns. 1 past and I just bought a smaller black and white clown and they were fine.

I had something similar happen. I had 2 black and white. One passed and got a small orange and white shortly after. They gave been together 3-4 years now and get along great.

Clowns usually only work in pairs or 8-10+ groups.
Usually if you put 4 together, the dominant female will pair with a male and, together, they will kill the rest.
So probably better to just pick one to add. If they are similar in size, they will usually bicker and fuss until one becomes dominant.
