how does everyone add salt when its needed?

i do it one glass full at a time, and pour it into the sump... is that what your talking about?

If you need to raise your salinity. Just mix your water change water a little higher. But you shouldn't add salt to the tank. It will spike your pH.

Never add salt directly to the tank or the sump. Pre-mix it with water and add it that way. Easiest during a water change.
