I am starting another tank (Oceanic Illumina 57gal). My question as of right now is what do guys think of this light http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3733+22132&pcatid=22132">http://www.fosterandsmithaquatics.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=3578+3733+22132&pcatid=22132</a> (the 36") for this tank...Wanting to keep this tank sleak and modern looking as it is going in the dining room...Would use the suspension kit with it so it would be hanging from the ceiling. Like the use of this system bc I dont need all sorts of timmers and addon lighting for moonlights etc...I am a die-hard T5HO guy and this is so far the only "complete" setup that i have found that would fit my needs....BTW I suck at spelling incase you couldn't tell...

I have the 72" model on my rmixed reef and it does really well, I have a large maxima clam on my sandbed and he is happy. I think you will like it alot in that application (hanging above tank) Go ahead and start thinking about replacing the bulbs it comes with. They arent terrible I just didnt like the combo - im running some ATI's and reefwaves now..WAY different look

For SPS I wouldnt go any deeper than 26" from bulb to sand with this fixture.

Imagine Ocean is an Aquaticlife dealer and can probably beat that price...keeps the money in GA too...I would at least ask before I would pay that price, seems a little high to me. It would be worth the drive. she might have one in stock

Plus, since she is a dealer she can support you on a better level than you could vs buying online because she can call a rep directly - you have to deal with customer service.
